Tuscan Kitchen Looks to Open in Burlington
Less than three years after opening Tuscan Kitchen on Main Street in Salem, NH, owner Joe Faro is working on an expansion into Massachusetts -- and the first stop is in Burlington.
If approved, Faro's second location will take over the first floor of the New England Executive Park, which is across from the Burlington Mall. A 4,800 square foot addition to the New England Executive Park building is included in the plan.

Two New Restaurants Get Liquor Licenses
The Burlington Board of Selectmen voted in favor of granting liquor licenses to two restaurants slated to be part of the 3^rd Avenue project.
Selectmen approved liquor licenses for Redstone American Grill and The Bancroft.
Redstone American Grill is a classic American food restaurant. The Bancroft is a high-end steak restaurant owned by the Webber Group.

New Yogurt Shop Opens in Bedford
Wicked Good Frozen Yogurt opened at 80 Great Road on June 10.
Bedford has a new choice for those seeking a nice cool treat - Wicked Good Frozen Yogurt.
Owner Maria said she noticed fro-yo shops popping up in places like Lexington and doing well. Since there were none in town, she decided to open one in her hometown of Bedford.

The b.good burger chain opened in Bedford on Saturday. The restaurant is at 168 Great Road.
The growing chain, started by two Boston-area guys, obtained its licensing approval last month.

Dave & Busters Looks to Open in Woburn
The restaurant and entertainment center Dave & Busters is lokoing to open at 275 Mishawum Road in Woburn.
According to the petition, Dave & Busters is asking permission for special permits for three zoning allowances, including being allowed to meet the city's parking requirements with a second parking lot with 104 spaces and asking to be allowed to have 200 coin operated, recreational, or entertainment machines.

A Taste of France in Lexington
Francois and Cecile Attard have brought a piece of their native country to town. They opened MA France - at 46 Mass Ave. - in East Lexington.
French food lovers can find cheese, meats and other products flown in from France weekly, or enjoy bread and pastry made nearby.
"We work only with small producers in France who have export licenses for the U.S.," Francois said.

Vine Brook Tavern opened last fall on Waltham Street and has already built a local following. After a recent feature on the Phantom Gourmet, the upscale American eatery will no longer be (if it ever was) Lexington's little secret.

New Burger Joint Coming to Arlington
The Board of Selectmen unanimously granted Arlington resident Bill Maund an operating license for Retro Burger & Ice Cream for 795 Mass. Ave.
Maund, who’s lived in Arlington for 19 years and raised his kids in town, is moving his burger and hot dog joint slash ice cream parlor from Cape Cod’s West Yarmouth to the former home of Cakes Bakery & Cafe. The restaurant opened at 44 Route 28 in West Yarmouth in 2010.
Maund said he plans to open in Arlington “sometime this summer.”

Nicola Closing After 42 Years in Arlington Heights
Nicola Pizza House is closing on Sunday, June 23.
Nicola “Nicky” and Mary Dellacioppa, the Winchester couple who opened Nicola’s on Jan. 15, 1972, have said that they are looking to retire.
They sold the property, at 1215 Mass. Ave., and the adjacent house to Tushar Patel, the Lexington man who owns the nearby Peter Pan Superette at 2 Park Ave., on May 1 of this year.
In late May, Patel said he was “still considering options,” including a pizza place, for the property. Reported by Patch 1 hour ago.
